Avondale Literacy Centre

A Literacy Centre is attached to Avondale Primary School and this is housed in the clinic block beside the lower carpark. The Centre serves a catchment area of twenty eight schools. These schools are located in the west and central areas of Auckland.

Two Resource Teachers:Literacy work from the Avondale Literacy Centre. They are Lindsay Lean and Bernadette Heibner. These teachers work with teachers and students to assist students who are experiencing serious difficulties in acquiring literacy skills.
