Kiaora

This term we have been doing a number of things and among them was poetry writing. We felt writing poems using structured approaches help children learn about the language features and gain those essential vocabulary to make our written language a bit more interesting.

Here are some of our acrostic poems and some titled "What's in the box" in which children have used powerful and appropriate verbs, adjectives and adverbs.
