Welcome to Room 10's web page.
Eleven different cultures are represented in Room10, thus contributing to its rich learning experiences.Though the challenges are numerous the children have embarked on a journey that is bound to be filled with excitement, determination, perseverence, enjoyment and success.
One very important aspect of our learning is vocabulary development so we have the language tools to communicate more effectively and confidently. We have also decided to develop our key competency of managing ourselves well and this integrates well with our topic study which is managing ourselves in our community.
We are furiously learning our tables to build a solid base for our strategy learning in the number strand of maths. Our other strand in maths learning is statistics where we are looking at data analysis adn representing data using graphs.
It is essential that all children set their personal goals in all curriculum areas and work very hard towards achieving them and eventually take the responsibility of learning in their own hands.
We are committed to developing our learning and our love of learning in a safe and caring environment.
