Term 2
So much to do in 11 weeks
Where to start?
Topic – We are looking at Electricity.
This is a topic that will be full of experiments. The children will enjoy it because they use electricity every single day. We will be looking at static electricity through to electricity in homes and how it makes things work. We will be making circuits.
ICT – for ICT this term the children will be making and presenting power points on different questions that they wanted to research about electricity. At the end of the term each group will present their power point to the rest of the class about what they were researching.
Writing – This term we are going to learn about and how to write HAIKU POEMS and REBUS POEMS. We will also be looking at DESCRIPTIVE writing. We will be describing someone in their family or a friend. We will be trying to use ADJECTIVES and SIMILES to make our descriptions more interesting to read.
This term will be great and the kids will be kept busy that for sure.
Come in and have a look at their published work that they kids will be doing over the term.
