Term 3 with Room 19

So what learning is happening in Room 19 this term??

For writing this term we will be focusing on

explanation writing.

This focuses on how and why questions.

So we have looked at

 “WHY DO WE NEED TO COME TO SCHOOL?”

It has been great listening to all the reason why the children think we need to come to school and also giving evidence to why we needed to come to school.

We are looking at various things for maths, such as

place value,

addition and

subtraction,

measurement,

multiplication and

division.

We are going to be using the new math resources that have been made up so help with our learning. We have got new learning profiles that are going to help the children know what they need to learn and what their next learning step is.

WE’RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER

that’s what we are working on for this term.

It is looking at such things as

co-operation,

team work, and

responsibility,

trust,

listening and

sharing ideas.

We have learnt about what we’re all in this together means in various ways thru music, P.E. with team building and art.
