Friends of Avondale School

We welcome you to this important page.  Friends of Avondale School is an informal group of teachers, parents and community members who work collaboratively in the interests of making our school a great place to be. Basically if you wish to join Friends of Avondale, drop us an email to principal@avondaleprimary.school.nz and I will put you in an email loop.  Once in the loop you will be kept fully informed of all that is happening in our school.

In 2010 we are pleased to confirm that Sharron Edwards, one of  our teachers will continue in the role of community liaison and as such will be an important point of contact for Friends of Avondale School.  Anybody wanting to find out more about Friends of Avondale School, please contact Sharron by email at:  sharrone@avondaleprimary.school.nz  or pop in for a chat.

The big focus for 2010 is the proposed project for a covered, heated swimming pool on our grounds.  It is intended that while our students gain tuition, the community will also have access to this resource.  Letters of support are urgently needed, so please feel free to email them to principal@avondaleprimary.school.nz or send in hard copy to Avondale Primary School.
